Anytime I drive, I notice many drivers taking different detours according to their different destinations. If I take a turn or detour because others are, I will miss my destination.

This reminds me of we women. We usually tend to admire, or wish we are like others. Sometimes, we even compete with one another for the same spot; forgetting that our destinations are different, though they may look alike.

Our ability to admire without envy while supporting one another in our journey, is the secret to a fulfilled life. There are great women who have and are focused on their destiny like:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an American justice of the United States from 1993 till her death on 18th September 2020.

Tara Fela-Durotoye is a Nigeria beauty entrepreneur and lawyer. She is the founder of house of Tara.

Joyce Meyer is an American Charismatic author and speaker. President of Joyce Meyer ministries. She runs her ministry with her husband Dave Meyer.

Serena Williams is an African-American professional tennis player. She has won 23 Grand Slam single titles.; the most by any player in the open era, and the second most of all time behind Margaret Court.

These women have one thing in common, they are focused on their destinations while helping those along the way find their destinations too.

Today, I ask you a simple question – will you be the 5th woman in the picture?

Focus 2

I boldly put my name on that list, for I will daily focus on my destination while helping others find their way.

Let us become the kind of women the world will celebrate because of our excellent service to others without losing sight of our goal/destination.

Remember, our destination includes family and nation building.
