Life happens! That was how I felt when I woke up on Saturday with the news that Chadwick Boseman was dead!

What caught my attention was that he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016. Yet His best performances were done in these last few years in between chemotherapy and surgeries. He has indeed left a legacy for the world.

To us still living, be reminded that life happens to us all, the difference is what we do with it.

Will you complain and blame everyone or will you gear up and do something with what life has thrown at you?

Many great people have done something with their pain and situations life has thrown at them, daily learning to live beyond their pain.

Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative was created from the place of pain and near divorce. We refused to allow our pain/mistake/divorce issues to define the future of our marriage, thereby creating a marriage others can look up to.

What are you going through? Don’t let your pain/hurt go to waste; use it!

A great example of using your pain is Jesus Christ our Saviour crying aloud –
“…Saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.
Luke 22:42 AMPC”.

Today, I join the world to celebrate the lives of those who fought the good fight of faith and left the world better than they met it.

You and I are still here; what will we be remembered for?
