Few weeks ago, while praying; I heard clearly – “give ME your throne”.

I was startled! My throne Lord? Do I have a throne? I have given you my all – I hold nothing dear Lord!

But years of working with God has told me God is never wrong. So I penned the request down and daily began to ponder about what it really means.

In ten days I realized what God meant by ‘give ME your throne’. I was becoming proud and possessive of how Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative was growing.

So, here was a humble girl that went back to her Father and relinquished all authority over to Him. Daily I remind myself that I am simply a servant in God’s vineyard and whatever results we are getting is simply a gift from God!

My dear friends, which thrones are you holding unto:
– Marriage
– Child(ren)
– Financial
– Skill/expertise
– Popularity
– Business
Whatever thing you are proud of and hold unto without returning the glory to the King of kings is a throne in your life. Don’t be like Nebuchadnezzar who was dethroned for seven years and lived like an animal.

LET US PRAY:

Lord, we ask for grace to see all we have as a gift from YOU that we may never lose your love and favour in Jesus name, Amen!
