Saturday 19th October 2019, was indeed a great day of impact as Keeping Marriage Alive (KMA) Initiative hosted one of her programs called Help International Conference.

The program started with a welcome address by Rich (Dr Richard Okonkwo), where he talked about who we are, our vision, our mission and other KMA programs like Woman and Marriage, KMA Diamonds Empowerment program, Family Alive Boot camp etc.
Rich summarized and rounded up by saying that “there is good in everyone if given a chance”

The participants were grouped into 3 different categories with 3 different case studies touching both the singles and married; dealing with salient issues in the society.

Pharm Victor Erukunnakpor spoke on the topic – “On Daddy’s Shoulders” which was really touching and full of life enriching words for all boys, men, fathers and their influence on the society.

Ngee(Mrs Ngozi Okonkwo) took over as the 2nd speaker with the topic – “Restoring Love”.
She said love begins with self, extends to marriage cum family and is reflected in the society. Every attendee was enlightened about what real love is.

If you were not there that day, then you really missed!

An enlightening video was displayed; we all learnt about COMMITMENT to God, family and society.

Mrs Nneamaka Ogini who was the MC for the day, threw 4 different key questions to the panel – Ngee & Rich. Other contributors were – A/P Nkem Nzeribe and Pst Ruth Iwunze (Love Base Assembly).
Questions that had to do with:
• Sex for grade
• Submission and leadership
• Gender roles in marriage and
• What a man wants versus what he needs.
– What a woman wants versus what she needs.

Then Mr Gbemisola Olatayo highlighted on the upcoming events-
•Woman and Marriage
(22nd -23rd November)
•KMA Diamonds Empowerment
(1st December).

A big thank you to behind the scene contributors and staff:
•Mr Chris Omeruo
•Engr Uzoma Ogini
•KMA Staffs.

Again, i say If you were not there that day, then you really missed!

Love,
Ngee and Rich
