I am just lying on my bed and reminiscing about life in general. Being at crossroads right now requires me to fight for what I believe God has given me.

I have fought several things like; health challenges, an abortion gone wrong as a single girl, emotional abuse and a near divorce saga, building Keeping Marriage Alive and now; expansion.

Most times when we hear “fight for what you believe”, we all assume that the fight is physical! But this is not so, for the greatest fight is against self (your mind). The fight is in holding on to what you believe versus accepting the reality you are seeing.

Those who are victorious, are those who hold on to what they believe in spite of the negative reality all around them.

Today, I will like to share key steps on fighting to win:
No blame game

Whatever you are going through right now, do not blame anyone. I repeat, blame no one!
Growth and success depend and work for those who accept responsibility for where they are at.

Guard your thoughts

I for one, guard my thoughts by meditating and reciting God’s promises from the scriptures.
When the pressures come, speak those words back to the situation and imagine the outcome that God has promised.
How do you guard your thoughts?

Guard your tongue

Your tongue affects your thought and your perspective.
If you have nothing to say, just repeat “it is well”. Your mind is counting on you to speak to it on which direction to take. Be intentional! Speak what you desire, not what you have!

Wait for the outcome

This seems to be where the great and mighty fail most of the time. A scripture sums up the whole test of faith, “having done all, stand!” (Ephesians 6:13-14).
Stand and believe what God has said, for that is your duty. God’s duty is to fulfill what He has promised at his own time!

I pray for everyone, especially our Woman and Marriage members. it is well with you and all that concerns you! (marriage, children, work, health etc)

Stand my dear, stand!
