As we close the year this Wednesday 20th December 2017, we would like to share the highlights of the year and say a big thank you for being a part of it.

The year began on a strong note with the executive board outlining programs for the year and strategies to achieve them.

As usual our ever eager women kicked off the pace for the year with Woman And Marriage forum. The weekly/monthly program ran throughout the year – physically and online. The forum has increased in number from 108 to over 250 members.

We introduced a new program for couples (Couples Boot Camp). It held once in January and gave couples the privilege to communicate rightly, and build a common vision in achieving their goal as a family. It was fun while learning new things about marriage.

KMA F.I.D.E.L.I.T.Y Walk was infused with Lagos branch Couples Hangout. The program focused on highlighting the importance of habits in building marriages and ultimately the society. FIDELITY Walk had a day awareness walk in February and continued trending online through its Facebook page. Couples Hangout held a day after the Fidelity walk at Brighams hotel providing couples with another opportunity to bond and lighten up as they discussed friendship as an important characteristics of building a successful marriage.

KMA Family Boot Camp 4th Edition was hosted at Green Legacy Resort Abeokuta with 8 families (36 participants) in attendance. It was a 3 day event and a delightful family event with lots of memories, legacy and experience shared among families. Booking has commenced for the next Family Boot Camp comes up 30th March – 1st April Easter Monday 2018.

We hosted our annual Facebook talk show tagged 2 Sides of the story with Ngee and Rich. The program rolled from September 2016 and stopped in September 2017 in preparation for the book version, production and Facebook live in 2018.

Our annual unforgettable KMA Anniversary/Awards 4.0 held at Sunfit Hotel & Spa, Amuwo-Odofin. The awards/anniversary program gave out 5 awards to 4 distinguished individuals and an organization. It also rolled out the fourth edition of our magazine themed Your Voice My Voice.

Love,
