The WAM (Woman and Marriage) Global End-of-Year Hangout, which held last weekend, was a joyful occasion to celebrate the blessings of the year, reflect on achievements, and give thanks to God for seeing us through it all.
The event featured uplifting praise and worship, inspiring teachings cum conversations from 𝙉𝙜𝙚𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙  𝘿𝙧. 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙝 (founders of Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative) including heartfelt testimonies of God’s faithfulness and a vibrant thanksgiving prayer session.
The central theme, 𝙈𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚; 𝙈𝙮 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙙, emphasised the importance of making the right choice and the impact of wrong choices in generations to come.
Dr. Rich gave lessons on 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙙. He said the seed, which is our purpose, is for generations to come. He said precious seeds go through warfare and that the road to our harvest can be very rough, but we should not be discouraged. We should speak to it, water it, acknowledge it, and stand by it because the seed has great value because of the giver (God).
Ngee gave lessons on Our Choices being seeds that Speak into a thousand generation and more. That is the impact of our choices.
She said 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨. Our choices bear good friut when love is our foundation and so for us to grow, we must learn to die to selfish purposes.
She noted that we have to be and remain faithful because sometimes the road to our harvest can be bitter, but it’s God’s way of preparing us for greatness.

“[28]  We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.”
Finally,  the fun filled event was a resounding success, leaving participants physically, spiritually, and emotionally refreshed and ready for new beginnings.
