KMAI( Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative) Lagos Couples Hangout – A Day of Romance, Real Talk & Rekindled Love.
On Saturday, 19th July 2025, love and purpose came alive in Lagos as couples gathered for a deeply impactful KMAI Couples Hangout – designed to strengthen bonds and restore joy in marriages.
The event was hosted in a beautifully arranged environment, adorned with elegant decorations and thoughtful details that set the perfect tone for connection and reflection. From the moment couples walked in, they were welcomed into a space that inspired warmth, unity, and celebration.
From heartfelt testimonies about real-life journeys in marriage, finances, and raising children, to open discussions that sparked laughter and vulnerability, every moment was tailored to breathe new life into relationships.
The day’s session was taught by Ngee, our passionate founder, who poured her heart out on the theme: “The 3 P’s: Purpose, Partnership & Productive.” Her teaching was not only enlightening but deeply practical — helping couples rediscover their roles, shared vision, and how to grow together meaningfully.
Standing by her side was her husband and cofounder Rich, whose calm yet impactful presence added a special layer of wisdom. With his rich insights, supportive words, and humorous remarks, Rich brought balance, making the message both grounded and relatable. The duo’s dynamic made it feel like more than just a seminar — it was a heartfelt dialogue that reached the soul.
No question went unanswered, as both Ngee and Rich graciously handled every concern with grace and honesty as it was moderated by our Lagos Chapter Coordinators, Sir Philip Ekundayo and Sis Precious Ejike.
There were also fun highlights and romantic touches throughout the hangout, along with refreshments that kept the mood lively and engaging.
And to bring the day to a powerful close, couples joined hands in prayer, committing their marriages, hearts, and future to God. It was a divine moment — honouring the One who binds every union with love.
The Lagos Couples Hangout wasn’t just an event. It was an experience — romantic, insightful, and deeply fulfilling. A reminder that with the right tools, mindset, and community, every marriage can thrive.
At KMAI, we don’t just talk about marriage — we build it, nurture it, and protect it.
