Abeokuta Couples Hangout – Love, Laughter & Learning!

On Saturday, 12th July 2025, the warm atmosphere of Abeokuta, came alive as couples gathered for an unforgettable Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative (KMAI) Couples Hangout.

It was an afternoon overflowing with romance, real talk, and refreshing moments of connection. Couples shared heartfelt testimonies about their journeys — from building stronger marriages to overcoming challenges in finances and raising children.

The highlight of the day was the deeply intimate sessions, where couples opened up and learned practical ways to strengthen their bond. Ngee, our founder and relationship coach, alongside her amazing husband cum cofounder Rich, brought a beautiful balance of wisdom, real-life experience, and gentle humour to the teaching on “Understanding the 3 P’s: Purpose, Partnership & Productive.”
Their practical insights, warm stories, and honest encouragement made everyone feel right at home — reminding couples that thriving together is possible when you build as friends, partners, and true companions for life.

No question was left unanswered as Ngee and Rich lovingly answered every question, sharing from their own journey and giving real, relatable takeaways couples could apply immediately.

Of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without good food — refreshments were served, adding a delicious touch to a day already full of warmth and laughter.

The Abeokuta Couples Hangout was more than just an event; it was a safe space to connect, learn, and fall in love again. And in true KMAI style, it all ended in heartfelt prayers, committing every couple, every testimony, and every lesson back to God — the solid foundation of every home.
