Progress not Perfection!

Ngee says…

This new year 2020, will you permit me to give you a simple advice that can make a difference in your journey?

‘Progress not perfection should be your mantra!’ Many of us are focused on perfection – 10/10, that we neglect to see the little changes or growth occurring daily in our lives.

Whenever we focus on perfection we usually get discouraged and give up easily. Whatever area you have listed in your goal list, take time to have little improvement areas that will keep you fuelled till you arrive at your vision/destination.

Many people assume that hubby and I have it all together, that’s not totally true. There are days that we have it better than others in our marriage; we celebrate these times. But when our shortcomings show up we wear our working boots and get back to work.

Rich says…

Everybody aims and looks forward to a perfect marriage, perfect home etc. but a more realistic goal is to aim for continuous progress in all areas of life.

This way we can grow to become the very best you can be in life.

Do you desire a great marriage filled with love? Then begin to intentionally take note and appreciate the little areas of progress for this will help you both to hold on till the finish line.

Are your child(ren) having academic challenges?

Carefully find areas of progress, and begin to work from there.

If we all base our judgement on perfection, none of us will stand or measure up; thereby never giving your marriage, children or career the opportunity it needs to grow!

Finally, remember every great thing started as a seed including you!
